Saudi Arabia raises its investment in US Treasuries to 149 billion in November 2017

Saudi Arabia raised its investments in US Treasuries and Treasuries to 149 billion by the end of November 2017, compared with 145.2 billion riyals at the end of October of the same year, up 2.6 percent and 3.8 billion dollars in a month.

According to an analysis of the Economic Reports Unit of Al-Eqtisadiah, which was based on US Treasury data, Saudi Arabia’s balance of US Treasuries increased by 48.9 per cent and $ 48.9 billion by the end of November 2016, Billion dollar.

The analysis showed that Saudi Arabia’s balance at the end of November 2017 was the highest since the US Treasury Department began announcing detailed data in March 2016. Saudi Arabia bought US $ 5.8 billion in US Treasury bonds last October. Saudi Arabia’s investments in treasury bonds only, and does not include Saudi Arabia’s other investments in US securities, assets and cash.
